Girls Who Shoot Guns at The Range 702

Image
What happens in Las Vegas, appears on GarciaMemories.com!
Months ago, my friend Lora and I planned a trip to Las Vegas to attend the annual ConnectHer conference to learn how to better our blogging skills. Of course we had to plan some fun in-between our conference workshops.

Yes, that is a pink camouflage gun in my hand along with our paper targets riddled with bullet holes.

How did we end up there? Thanks to US Family Guide for always hooking it up with awesome blogger experiences. Lora and I were treated to an hour of gun fun at The Range 702
Lora and I have never shot guns before so we were a bit anxious for our first time. We must have looked like super noobs because the first thing the lady who helped us said was, "Is this your first time?" She was super nice, asked us lots of questions about our comfort level with the guns, and set us up with a "gentle" gun for our first time. I can't remember the name of the gun, neither the size of the bullets wi…

Boomont Park at Belmont Park for Your Halloween Fun

Image
Fall has arrived! Although San Diego was still sunny at 85 degrees today, pumpkin spice lattes are here and the stores are filled with Halloween decorations.

We just got back from an evening of fun at
BOOmont Park, also known as Belmont Park at Mission Beach. It's become a family tradition for us to visit BOOmont Park at the beginning of the Fall season. We start off with a friendly competition of mini golf, ride a few rides, share some Hot-Dog-on-a-stick, and accompany the boys as they trick or treat around Belmont Park.

The Halloween celebrations at Belmont Park are something you want to make sure you don't miss. The Halloween festivities are happening every weekend, all October long! Starting Saturday, September 30th, activities will run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5pm to CLOSE plus Tuesday, October 31st.

BOOmont Park’s frighteningly-fun weekends include:
*FREE trick-or-treating from 6:30-7:30pm
*Zombie Laser Tag where creatures will join you in this three-floo…

POPIN' COOKIN' Happy Kitchen Donut Making Kit - Unboxing and Taste Test

Image
Do you kids love to play around in the kitchen? Mine do!

Check out the fun my boys had with the Popin' Cookin' Happy Kitchen donut making kit!

What is Popin' Cookin'?
I like to compare it to Easy Bake oven, without the oven. The box comes with everything you need, except the water you'll need for the mixes.  These Popin' Cookin' sets create mini cakes, donuts, sushi rolls (gummy candy, sushi rolls), and etc. It's lots of fun!

Where can you get your own Popin' Cookin' sets? We got ours at our local Daiso Japan. For $3.50, it was totally worth it. The kids had a great time making their mini-donuts.
No Daiso Japan near you? There are lots of Popin' Cookin' sets to be found on Amazon!

Here's a few videos when we tried Popin' Cookin' three years ago. My boys were so little!

Have you tried Popin' Cookin' before? What did you think? I'd love to read your thoughts in the comments below!
