#FoodieFriday - Pop Pie Co is Coming to San Diego

Look what I found!!

Pop Pie Co. San Diego is coming to town and I got a sneak peek into their sweet pies that fit in the palm of your hand!

These mini pies are super delish and are the right size to satisfy your sweet tooth without the guilt of eating an entire slice of pie! I have to admit, these pies were so good, I ate a few at one sitting. Don't judge me!

Here is a breakdown of the Pop Pie's I had the pleasure of trying:

Pumpkin Pie with a creamy yummy whipped cheesecake topping, house-made cinnamon spice and a pinch of coarse sea salt.

Thai Tea Pie with a white chocolate layered crust base and topped with toasted almond slivers. The crunch of the almonds with the sweet surprise of the white chocolate crust base is a great addition to the familiar flavors of Thai tea in this pie!

Earl Grey Tea Pie made with Earl grey tea, a dark chocolate layered crust base and a pistachio topping. I love dark chocolate! The tart dark chocolate was a wonderful compliment to the sweet earl grey flavors. I love how some of Pop Pies have a surprise crust on the inside. It's a eye-opening, smile making treat at first bite!

I have to admit the Honey Bourbon Pecan Pie was my favorite. Made with organic honey, brown sugar, and orange zest, it reminded me of my husband's grandma's pecan tarts she made during the holidays.

Steven and Gan are the cool dudes behind these yummy pies!

They are super excited to the opening of Pop Pie Co. SD in University Heights early in 2016! Not only will they feature sweet pies, they'll also have savory pies, custom coffee, craft beers, and other yummies to enjoy!

They'll be located on the corner of Park Blvd and Meade Ave, in the entryway between Hillcrest and University Heights. Pop Pie CO SD will be an awesome addition to the University Heights business district, which has become a popular and trendy food and beverage destination for San Diegans!

I can't wait to for Pop Pie Co SD to open so I can treat my family and friends to these yummies!

Discialmer: I received a sample of pies in exchange for this blog post and social media shares. All opinions are mine.
