I've always wanted an ice cream maker and this weekend I finally got myself one!
I bought a 4-quart Rival ice cream maker from Walmart which was $25.
The recipe I used was from here. I followed the directions for the ice and salt that came with the ice maker. A few times the ice cream can would get stuck while it was churning because of the tightly packed ice. Adding a little bit of water fixed that!

After about 30 minutes of the ice cream churning, it was done! it was so delicious and creamy, and all natural!
Next time I use my ice cream maker, I plan to use a "skinny" recipe with skim milk and splenda/truvia. Until then!
