Maybe it's my influence of being a school counselor or maybe it's my kids' geeky tendencies. Either way, it's always a good time exploring new places in and around San Diego. Who knew my kids would get a kick out of visiting University of California, San Diego.

During our visit to UC San Diego, we:
- Parked in the parking structure on the outside of campus and walked "to class"
- Visited Giesel Library - named after Dr. Seuss himself
- Ate like a college student at Shogun in the Price Center
- Explored the "gift shop" a.k.a. bookstore
- Took advantage of the free play at the student arcade
