Calling all Super Heroes! The Jr Hero Run is coming in San Diego!
This event has become so popular in just two years that the Jr Hero Run expanded to four locations across Southern California and even Nevada. And yes, it's on it's way to San Diego for 2016!
The Jr Hero Run is a 3k run/walk uniquely designed as an affordable interactive adventure for families with children. I've taken my kids on my walks - they on their scooters and I shuffling along next to them. I'm trying to get them used to what 3 kilometers feels like to get them ready for this walk/run. Hopefully, I'll get them off their scooters and on their feet along next to me soon.
All participants are encouraged to dress up in superhero costumes and courageously take on villains with water guns to accomplish a mission. How fun, right?

A portion of the proceeds from the Jr Hero Run are donated to the Make-A-Wish foundation to make wishes come true!
