Drop Your Pants for the Underawareness Movement

I don't know if this happens to you, but it happens to me. It's a bit embarrassing but I know many of you can relate! I laugh a little too hard or let out a really big sneeze and I'll pee on myself. Yes, it's gross but it happens. Don't judge me, I know it's happened to you too!

Reality is, one in three women experience Light Bladder Leakage (LBL), which can be triggered by everyday occurrences like coughing, sneezing, laughing or exercise. Many women rely on feminine care products or nothing at all to manage their little leaks because they don’t know there are solutions designed specifically for LBL or they don’t think incontinence products are for them.

LBL became more frequent for me after I had my two boys. Baby Center shares that "The tissues and muscles that support your uterus (womb), bowel and bladder can become stretchier in pregnancy... These muscles and tissues are called your pelvic floor. When you gave birth to your baby, your pelvic floor muscles stretched even more, which will have further weakened them. Having a weak pelvic floor makes it harder for you to squeeze the muscles and sphincters at the bottom of your bladder". Thus, the LBL with my laughing and sneezing.

It's important to know that bladder leakage is a condition that affects millions of people. It's reassuring to know there are products out these to help me, and may others, manage our LBL. Depend products are for people of all ages. Depend provides discreet products that help people regain their freedom and get their lives back.

I'm totally loving the Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs from Depend. It's a new moderate-absorbency brief featuring a thin design for complete comfort and the trusted protection of the Depend brand

Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs have a lower rise for an underwear-like look, fit and feel. They really don't feel any different than my other pairs of underwear. They are just as comfy and easy to move around in. As a mother of two, it's a busy day everyday and Depend Silhouette Active Fit briefs help me get through without having to worry about my LBL.

Entering year two of Underwareness, Depend has initiated a social movement and charitable cause to break down the bladder leakage stigma.

As part of Underwareness, the Depend brand is:
  • Encouraging people to show their support for women with bladder leakage.
  • For every photo and video shared using #Underwareness and featuring Depend products, the Depend brand will donate $1, up to $3 million, through 2016 to fund charities that advance the research and education of bladder leakage.
I encourage you to visit www.Underwareness.com to support the cause and request free samples of Depend Silhouette Active Fit.
