Family Fun in Boston: Day One

Garcia Family just got back from a week long vacation in Boston! We did so much while we were there! So much so we "need a vacation from our vacation"!

I love sharing our family vacations with all of you in hopes you too will visit the fun places we've been too!

Since we did so much in Boston, I'll be posting each day of our vacation separately so check back each day for my latest post on our vacation fun!

Our Boston vacation started with a tour of Harvard University. Being a high school counselor, I wanted to fit in a few college visits on this trip to help advise students on their college choices. Harvard has so much history and its a honor of any admitted students to be a part of its legacy.

We explored Harvard Square, had lunch at Yenching Restaurant, and stopped for a visit to the "World's Only Curious George Store".

A walk around Tufts University was a great contrast to Harvard. A quieter, smaller campus which may be a better fit for some of my students. Hubby had to get himself a "Jumbo" t-shirt, the Tufts U elephant mascot.

Next was a walk around the Boston Public Garden- beautiful and serene!

Our last stop of the day was Feneuil Hall Marketplace for some "chowda","lobsta" roll, and the best pumpkin chocolate chip cookies
